With a 1974 Honours
Diploma as an Instructional Materials Centre Technician, Humber College
of Applied Arts and Technology, Toronto, Tom has 27 years' experience
in the operation, design and implementation of television production
facilities. His specialties are: design and implementation of television
production facilities; specification and procurement of television
technical equipment; project management and on-site supervision of
the implementation of television studio and origination centre facilities;
and design and implementation of specialized television systems for
legislative assemblies and sports/entertainment complexes. Employed
at Imagineering from 1995 to 2002, he also held positions in the Community
Access Television departments of Graham Cable TV/FM, York Cablevision
and Trillium Cable Communications Limited. Tom is an associate member
of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and
Technologists and a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television
Engineers.
